[]Resident
Evil 4 Update
-No,
there still is no official announcement of the game from
Capcom, but so info. was slipped out by the creator.
According to the company, Resident Evil 4 is
very much in the works. The release date for the
U.S. is set for sometime in 2002, Japan getting it in
2001 for all your importers. The game will appear
on multiple platforms in addition to PS2. When the
game will be released for each platform is unknown.
And knowing Capcom each system will have a different taste;
differnt costumes, items, scenes, and mini-games.
In other news relating to RE 4, Devil May
Cry, originally started out as the framework for
RE 4. Somewhere along the line, Devil
May Cry picked up the act and RE 4 gets
an entire new look. So when playing DMC,
take note that the beginning to somewhere in the middle
of the game was the original look for RE 4.
[]PS2
MOST WANTED & Release date for Resident Evil Code
Veronica PS2
-Resident
Evil Code Veronica lies in 10th place for one of the most
wanted games for the PS2 platform. No not Code
Veronica X (or CV Complete as some call it), but
the Dreamcast's original RE CV. This one
promises to be even better on the PS2 with Capcom planning
a lot of extras to make this one a "director's cut"
that fans of the series probably won't want to miss!
-Resident
Evil CODE: Veronica for the PS2 will be out in the U.S.
next month, March 2001.
[]Resident
Evil CODE: Veronica X
-Yes
you heard right, X. Those who
own a PS2 will be blessed with 'the BEST Resident Evil
title yet.' Yes we all know about Code Veronica
and have played it. However CV X is somewhat
better and different. The game will consist of additional
new gameplay elements and extras, which are exclusive
to the PS2. Graphics are 10 times better on PS2
compared to Dreamcast from what PSM had to say.
Capcom has enhanced the plot with some twists. The
notable change to CV is the role of Wesker, supposingly
having up to a 10 minute scene to explain his whereabouts
and how is he alive?... To end Capcom has also said
that a demo of Devil May Cry will be included
with the games release.
