Capcom
has now made it official that Resident Evil Online will
be for the PS2 console only. Remember all that talk
about an "Axe" being a weapon in the first Resident
Evil? Well, apparently you will be able to use an
axe in 0. So I guess some wishes do come true.
Now if we can get Capcom to release the original Resident
Evil 2 (of course this will never happen!). Finally,
on the Capcom Europe site, I was checking the Resident
Evil sections and noticed that the Resident Evil 2 section
they have up for Playstation, the screens are from the
original Resident Evil 2, what many of you call 1.5...
Don't know if they meant to do that or what but they are
there.

After
updating the site one last time in the "Extra"
section, Capcom Japan will now focus on updating the Biohazard
Series site and all the sub-sites that link off that main
site.

Thank
god, Milla Jovovich will be returning as Alice.
[She's my all time favorite ;) ] Also returning
will be Eric Mabius playing the role of the Nemisis.
Gina Phillips [Jeepers Creepers] will be playing the role
of Claire (Redfield?), Natasha Henstridge [Species] will
be playing S.T.A.R.S. member Jill Valentine, and they
is also talk about more male figures, which roles are
unknown. Paul Anderson seems to be going towards
the videogame style for this movie. Finally the
S.T.A.R.S. will be a part of the movie and as you saw
at the end of Resident Evil, the RPD and the City itself
is in reality as the game. Lets just hope this sequel
Resident Evil Nemisis makes us true RE fans happy
once again.

Zero Release Date

August
28, 2002 is the set release date for Biohazard Zero in
Japan. The game is said to come on 3 disks, possibly
one of the disks being Wesker's Report II. Resident
Evil Zero (US and PAL) is still unknown.

a side note, the Movie will be coming offline soon.

in the US. Gaiden is set for a June 2002 US release
date.

planning a special event in Japan dubbed Capcom Game Fair
2002. According to company representatives, the show will
provide Japanese players the opportunity to play games
that will be unveiled at the upcoming E3 Expo in Los Angeles.
Scheduled for June 2 at Zepp Tokyo and June 9 at Osaka
Hole, admission to the event will be free for everyone.
The show will run from 10AM-5PM on both days, and will
include several stage presentations and special contests."
Biohazard II and Biohazard 0 are 2 games to be played
at this show for the GameCube system.

4 Orginal Production Canned...

According
to what I have been told, what was already to be Biohazard
4 has been canned. Capcom wants to change everything
from past games. The controlling of each character
is to be changed for starts. Articles, the Menu
screen, and loading phases apon entering a room are to
be changed as well. Expect a big difference from
other Resident Evil games.

Japanese magazine lists Biohazard 4 as the next installment
from Capcom. It states that the game will come on
not one, not two, but THREE DVD-ROMs! The game still
stands on the CameCube side. The game is said to
be released sometime around the 7th anniversary, March
2003.
