CINO DE MAYO!

So
Chris Redfield felt the need to jump ship on RE and do
a little battle against some Marvel enemies like the Incredible
Hulk... that's right. Chris Redfield will be a playable
character in Capcom and Marvel's upcoming hit... Marvel
vs. Capcom 3. Just as Jill Valentine made her appearance
in Marvel vs. Capcom 2, lab zombie and cerberus both assisted
her in battle. Wonder who will be Chris' helpers? Check
out the trailer below.
UPDATE:
First screens of Resident Evil Afterlife have been released
on Myspace. These screens feature Alice, Claire Redfield,
Chris Redfield, Wesker and an old friend from Resident
Evil 5!
My
apologies on the lack of updates and sections online.
Work, school and life all take on tough times ever once
in awhile... ha. So anyways not much going on after the
release of Darkside Chronicles and Resident Evil 5 Gold.
In
other news... the next movie installment Afterlife will
soon have a trailer for view. Milla's Twittering once
again reveals some news stating that the trailer will
debut in front of A Nightmare on Elm Street on April 30,
2010. This 4th installment will be Alice (Milla J) and
the series final sequel. Resident Evil (movie series)
will then be taking on a reboot... completely redone...
how it should have been... just like the game.
And
returning to the game series...

Official Site Update, Biohazard Book Re-issued, Afterlife
Wesker Talk
1-29-2010 - Posted by: crazie
Check
the Official
Resident Evil 5 Gold Site for new wallpapers, buddy
icons and trailers. With the new knowledge of Excella
and Josh, to add to that Excella will be with the DLC
package for Lost in Nightmares and Josh will be with the
DLC for Desperate Escape. So once you purchase each, you
will be able to use both in the Mercenaries Reunion.
Back
in March 2005, Capcom released a book titled 'Biohazard
Archives' featuring RE 0 to CODE: Veronica. It features
all the characters, B.O.W.'s, glossary of terms from the
games and information about Umbrella. This new book, same
title, is being re-issued with updated sections and some
new artwork. Again, it includes 0, the original Resident
Evil, 2, Nemesis and CODE: Veronica. 352 pages long and
a smaller size now, dropping down to an A5 size.
And
to bring it to the movies... Shawn Roberts talks about
his role as Albert Wesker in Resident Evil: Afterlife.
The following comes from Shock
Till You Drop.
"I
play Albert Wesker who is head of the Umbrella Corporation
who is responsible for the outbreak of the T-virus, or
the Uroboros virus," he told us, hinting that this
entry may be extracting elements from Resident Evil 5.
"It was nice to be in a position of sitting back
playing with my puppets as they were. We finished in December
and I guess right now it's just about making sure the
technology gets into the screen so 3-D can happen."
Written
and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, and of course starring
Milla Jovovich as Alice, Roberts says, "The storyline
goes on its own [in terms of its faithfulness to the game].
We made sure we brought elements in. The wardrobe is very
similar and as close as we could get it. We have some
fight scenes that are taken directly from the game. We're
doing it for the fans so we want to do what makes them
happy. The dogs come back. They're my pets which is cool."
"My
character is such a favorite character in the games,"
he adds, "so I'm just like 'alright I don't want
to piss anyone off.' You make it the best you can. The
key thing is that it was fun. I would walk onto set and
not even have my wardrobe, but wardrobe comes over and
they hand me my gloves and give me my jacket. It just
sort of takes shape. I'm a fan and I'm not disappointed."
Finally
we get to see both Josh Stone and Excella Gionne in action.
1up.com has the video's up from Capcom featuring Josh
and Excella battling thru the Mercenaries Reunion. 1up.com

Resident
Evil 5 Gold has new footage that has been found all over
the net. Game Videos (1up.com) has released a video (Biohazard
5 Alternate Edition) with somewhat of a 'filter' overlay.
Just like the filters that become available in Resident
Evil 5, seems there will be the same option for Gold (Alternate
Edition in Japan). Game

For
the PS3 version, reports around the internet have stated
a new patch that updates Resident Evil 5. This patch shows

New Costumes), not yet selectable. Their are also new
figurines available to view. Barry Burton and Rebeccas
Chambers (RE Rebirth and RE Zero figures) are now available

Horror News Quite & So Are Wii Sales
1-6-2010 - Posted by: crazie
Happy
New Year from REMS! However, not such a good New Year
for the Wii.
N4G
(news for gamers) has reported that with the low sales
of the Darkside Chronicles (16,000 units within the first
3 weeks), they will be shifting their focus more towards
the PS3 and XBox 360. Read the full
story here.
First
off... MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM REMS! Thank you to all the
site fans for visiting and enjoying the content. Not the
greatest fan site out there, but still alive and kicking
and getting the sections more and more complete. Enjoy
your New Years Eve and be safe!
In
other news... Afterlife (the 4th film) has been pushed
back to a Summer 2010 release date. The actual date is
not known, yet many sites are saying August. And with
the Alternate Edition (Japan name) and Gold Edition (US
and Europe name), seems PS3 owners will be the only lucky
ones to have the option of purchasing the game on disc
and having it as DLC. Still no release date information
for XBox 360 owners, and seems it will only be DLC for
360 owners.
Check
out the RE5 Gold Edition section
for updates on playable characters, new enemies, new hi-res
screens, game play video, and the new Trophies/Achievements
list. Also just started to work on the RE
2 and Darkside Chronicles
sections.
Here
are some new Famitsu scans promoting the new Gold Edition
coming shortly after the New Year.
So
far, all scanned images and screen shots are from the
PS3 version of RE:5 Gold Edition. This game will be released
in box on Feb. 18, 2009 for PS3 only. The DLC will be
available over the PSNetwork and XBox Live on March 9,
2009. With the new screens released for 'Desperate Escape',
we also learned some new information. Jill and Josh save
both in the helicopter at the end of RE5 right?... Well
now we get to see how they make their way there. Jill
and Josh have to get thru this new level to make it to
the helicopter to save Chris and Sheva from the Volcano.
Also, with the Mercenaries Reunion Josh will be a playable
character. And with the new videos out there of Chris
and Sheva you can see their new outfits, Heavy Metal Chris
and Business Suite Sheva.

Talks About Release, Keeper of Madness, Resident Evil
on PSNetwork
12-8-2009 - Posted by: crazie
As
stated on Milla's latest twitter update, Afterlife is
still set for an August 2010 release. Rumors are going
around the net that due to the 3D process, the movie may
be pushed back to January 2011. Check out Milla's
twitter for yourself.
Famitsu
online has made some more comments on the new creature
featured in the 'Lost in Nightmares' episode. The name
is said to be 'Keeper of Madness.' Everything else still
seems to be true about this creature lurking the basement
of the Spencer mansion and attacking any intruders.
And
for all the die hard RE fans that love the originals,
the PSNetwork has all of the 3 first titles in the series
available for purchase and download. Nothing has been
said to be released for the Xbox 360 holders.
